HEATER THERMOSTAT (S3). - continued
c. Replace.
(1) Thermostat (1).
(a) Tag and disconnect wire leads from thermostat (1) terminals.
(b) Remove two screws (3), lock washers (4), and thermostat (1).
(c) Attach new thermostat (1) to bracket (2) with two screws (3) and lock washers (4).
(d) connect wire leads to thermostat (1) terminals using tags and wiring diagram (figure 4-6). Remove
tags.
(2) Bracket (2).
(a) Remove two screws (3), lock washers (4), and thermostat (1).
(b) Remove screw (5) look washer (6) flat washer (7) and bracket (2).
(c) Attach new braoket (2) to unit with screw (5), look washer (6), and flat washer (7).
(d) Attach thermostat (1) to bracket (2) with two screws (3) and lock washers (4).
NOTE
FOLLOW-ON MAINTENANCE:
Install top panel (para 4-11).
