FUEL HEAT INDICATOR LIGHT MAY BE DEFECTIVE
.
NOTE
1 Disconnect the wire from contact (1) on indicator light (2).
2 Connect one multimeter lead to
indicator light contact (1) and the
other lead to indicator light contact (3).
3 Check for approximate resistance reading of 80 K
ohms.
If
resistance is not present, replace the indicator light (2) (p 6-187).
4 If FUEL HEAT light does not light, proceed to step B.

FUEL HEATSWITCH MAY BE DEFECTIVE

1 Connect one multimeter lead to
FUEL HEAT switch contact (1) and
connect other lead to FUEL HEAT switch contact (2).
