Set the oscilloscope to sync externally on the DMS-D test start sync pulse (E9 Selector B) as follows:
EQUIPMENT NOTES
1.
Record the Selector A & B dial settings.

Position Selector A to F1 & Selector B to E9.
3.
Connect the oscilloscope external trigger to Selector A output (J12) using a coax jumper.
4.
Set oscilloscope dials as follows:

Time Base (10:1 probe)

5.
Adjust Comparator B for +2.5 Vdc on DMM.
6.
Adjust Oscilloscope trigger level control until a trace occurs.
7. Remove the coax between (J12) & the oscilloscope.
8.
Connect a coax between the Oscilloscope external trigger and the DMS-D Selector B output (J13).
9.
Set Selector A to the position recorded in Step #1.
10.
After fault isolation is completed remove the coax between J13 and the Oscilloscope.
11.
After fault isolation is complete, set Selector B to the position recorded in Step 1.
