Connect power cable to 115 Vac.
To avoid serious burns, avoid contacting the resistor body with bare fingers after connecting it

across the battery terminals in the following steps.

BATTERY CHARGE switch to ON.
Connect a 10 watt, 30 ohm resistor (5905-00-823-5450 or equivalent) (simulated normal load)

across the battery teminals and allow the battery to discharge for 30 seconds.

When FULL CHARGE lamp illuminates turn BATTERY CHARGE switch OFF, disconnect P1 and
P2 of the "E" cell synchronizer adapter, and the power cable of the TTS>
Monitor with the DMM probes (observing polarity across the battery.

Observe a reading > +9.6 Vdc

Remove the load and dispose of
the battery.
Remove the simulated load from the battery.

Repeat steps 13 through 16 for each battery.

"E" Cell Sync Procedure
NOTE
The "E" cell of the TTS must be synchronized when faulty batteries are replaced
with a full set or fully charged batteries.
