SERVICE UPON RECEIPT
GENERAL
Upon receipt of a new, used, or reconditioned BEB, perform the following steps to
determine if the BEB has been properly prepared for service:
NOTE
The operator will assist when performing service-upon-
receipt inspections.
1. Inspect all assemblies, subassemblies, and accessories to ensure they are in
proper working order.
2. Secure, clean, lubricate, or adjust equipment as required in Preventive
Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS). Refer to WP 0046 00.
3. Check all Basic Issue Items (BII) to ensure every item is present, in good
condition, and properly mounted or stowed. Refer to WP 0051 00.

Refer to WP 0046 00 and WP 0047 00 in this manual when servicing, inspecting,
and lubricating equipment.
