a. Deploy.
Mud flaps must be in the down position prior to
lowering/raising stabilizers, backhoe operation, or
road use. Failure to comply may result in damage to
equipment.
(1)
Remove retaining clip (1) from pin (2) and lower
mud flap (3).
(2)
Replace retaining clip (1) in pin (2).
(3)
Repeat steps for remaining mud flap.
b. Stow.
Mud flaps must be in the up position prior to off-road driving or FEL operations. Failure to comply
may result in damage to equipment.
(1)
Remove retaining clip (1) from pin (2).
(2)
Fold mud flap (3) in half, and place hole in lower portion of flap on pin (2).
(3)
Replace retaining clip (1) in pin (2).
(4)
Repeats steps for remaining mud flap.
