a. General. Your truck can ford bodies of water up to a depth of 30-inches
without the use of special equipment. Special kits are available for deep water
fording. Refer to TM 9-238.
b. Normal Fording through 30 Inches of Water or Less.
TOOLS:
Straight bar plug wrench
Ratchet wrench

1.
Using straight bar plug wrench and ratchet wrench, unscrew drain plug (1)
from storage boss (2) on flywheel housing.
2. Screw drain plug (1) into drain port (3).
