WARNING
The return spring inside the brake chamber is under very
heavy tension. The two halves of the chamber must be clamped
together in a vise before removing all of the screws and nuts
which hold it together. Failure to do so could cause serious
injury.
Position brake chamber (1) in vise (4) in

TWO woodblocks
between two woodblocks (2) and (3).

Remove using two 1/2-inch wrenches.
Sixteen screws

Slowly open the vise and separate the chamber
