WHEELS AND
TIRES
a. Torque lug nuts to 340 350 Ib-ft (454 474 NZm) using
sequence shown.
b. Inspect tires for wear and damage. Check tread depth
(TM 9-2610-200-14).

SUSPENSION
a. Check for any evidence of damage to springs, spring mounting
bolts, and U-bolts. Check for loose clips or shifted leaves.
b. Torque tandem axle U-bolt nuts to 85-105 Ib.ft. (115-142 NZm).
Torque trunnion axle U-bolt nuts to 150-175 Ib.-ft. (203-237 NZm).

ELECTRICAL
WIRING
Check chassis wiring harness, intervehicular cable, composite
lights, clips, shields, and grommets for correct assembly and condi-
tion. Replace or repair as required (paras 4-22 through 4-26).

DATA PLATES
Ensure that data plates are legible and in good condition. Replace
damaged data plates (para 4-57).
