Using ratchet, 8-inch extension, and lug socket, continue to tighten lug studs (1) in sequence shown. Notify unit
maintenance that lug studs (1) need to be torqued to 450 - 500 lb-ft (610 - 680 Nm). Torque in sequence shown.
6.
Raise platform (para. 2-19) until all tires for affected bogie are off the ground.
FOLLOW-ON MAINTENANCE
1.
Install inner/outer wheel (para. 3-9).
2.
Notify unit maintenance that wheels on affected bogie require torquing.
