Remove caps/plugs, install two hose clamps (1) onto hose (2), and connect hose to injection pump and fuel filter.
Tighten two hose clamps.
FOLLOW-ON MAINTENANCE
Fill fuel tank with diesel fuel (para. 3-3).

General Safety Instructions
WARNING
Diesel fuel is combustible and is an irritant to the eyes, skin, and respiratory
system. To avoid injury to personnel and explosion, extinguish all smoking
materials and do not allow sparks or open flame near the fuel tank or the fuel
system. Use skin and eye protection and work in a well-ventilated area.
Clean up any fuel that is spilled during fuel line removal or injury to personnel may
result.
CAUTION
All fittings and openings must be capped or plugged immediately after opening to
prevent dirt, moisture, or other foreign material from entering the fuel system or
damage to equipment may result.
