Drill & No. 29 drill bit

Compressed air used for drying purposes
Rivet gun

must not exceed 30 psi (207 kPa).
a. REMOVAL OF BRAKE SHOE LININGS
(1)
Drill out 24 rivets (3) and remove
brake lining cam (2) and brake
lining anchor (1) from brake
shoe. Discard rivets.
(2) Repeat step 1 to remove brake
shoe linings from other brake
shoe.
