MAINTAIN 7.62-MM MACHINE GUN (REMOVE RUPTURED CARTRIDGE
CASE-M240)
Make Sure:
q MACHINE GUN switch (A) is set to OFF.
q Weapon has been unloaded (page 2-559).
1.
Remove spare barrel case (B) from
stowed position.
2.
Remove cartridge extractor (C) from
spare barrel case.
3.
Remove barrel (page 3-149).
4. Install spare barrel (D) (page 3-151).
