MAINTAIN PERISCOPES (REMOVE PERISCOPE BODY) - Continued
To Remove M36E1 Passive Body:
Make Sure:
q MASTER BATTERY switch (A) is set to OFF.
q Cupola azimuth lock is locked (page 2-569).
1. Raise headrests (B) and (C).
2. Disconnect lamp housing (D)
from sight (E).
3. Secure lamp housing (D) to
light source control (F).
4. Hold base of body (G) with one hand.
5. Release front latch (H).
6. Release rear latch (J).
7. Lower passive body (G) from head assembly (K).
