MAINTAIN PERISCOPES (REPLACE LAMPS) - Continued
To Replace Lamp in M36 Infrared Body:
1.
Unscrew lampholder (A) from
periscope body (B).
2.
Remove bad lamp (C) by
pressing and turning counter-
clockwise.
3.
Get good lamp from spare
lampbox (D).
4. Install good lamp (C) into lampholder (A) by pressing and turning clockwise.
5. Screw lampholder (A) into body (B).
6. Put infrared body into operation (page 2-354) to check lamp.
If reticle lights, dispose of bad lamp. If reticle does not light,
notify organizational maintenance.
