Remove flange (17).

Remove housing (27).

Remove flange (22) with inlet ring (28).
m. Remove four nuts (29) and four flat washers (30)
securing inlet ring (28) to flange (22) and remove
inlet ring (28).
Inspect shaft extension (13), fan inlet rings (16

Inspection
and 28), impeller (18), flanges (17 and 22),
straps (11 and 26) and housing (27) for visible
out-of-round conditions, dents, burrs and nicks.
Replace defective items.

Check impeller (18) for damaged or bent vanes.
c.
Straighten or replace impeller (18).
