5-7. EVACUATION
NOTE
Parts replacement (including dehydrator) should be accomplished
p r i o r to evacuating the refrigerant system. Refer to applicable
paragraphs.
a. PREPARATION-SETUP. See Figure 5-6.
1.
Remove service valve caps.
2.
Attach the manifold hoses to the unit service valve. Make sure the high pressure
hose is comected to the high pressure service valves and the low pressure (suction) hose is
connected to the low pressure service valve.
3.
Attach center hose from charging manifold to the vacuum pump. See Figure 5-6.
