NOTE
The valve replacement procedures in this work package are for typical valves found on
the Marine Sanitation Device (MSD). Actual removal and installation of the valves in this
work package may differ slightly from the procedures as written.
THREADED GATE VALVE
REMOVAL
1. Place a suitable drain pan under the union (figure 1, item 1) of the threaded gate valve (figure 1, item 2) to be
removed.
