LOADING RAMP (CONT)
NOTE
Ramp is lowered to horizontal position to permit removal of the capscrew installed
through the top end of the spring guide rod.
2.
Lower ramp to horizontal position (para. 2-20).
3.
Remove locknut (5), capscrew (6), and washer (7) from upper end of spring guide rod (8). Discard locknut.
4.
Return ramp to raised (stow) position (para. 2-20) and reconnect chain assembly (2) to platform.
5.
Remove cotter pin (9) and shouldered pin (10) from lower end of spring guide rod (8) and ramp lift lever (4).
Discard cotter pin.
