Top covers removed (paragraph 4.17)
Cloth, lint free (Item 9, Appendix E)
Evaporator inlet and outlet louvers removed

Off-set phillips screwdriver

Removal
a.
Loosen post screw (1) on mechanical post (2).
b.
Remove two screws (3), two Iockwashers (4),
and two flat washers (5).
c. Remove hex nut (6).
d. Disconnect push-pull control cable wire (7) from
mechanical post (2).
