element (8). Discard lock washers.

and conditioned air filter (5). Discard lock washers.

b. Installation
(1) Fresh Air Filter
(a) Install air filter element (8) Figure 3-19, filter frame (7), two screws (4), new lock washers (5),
and flat washers (6).
(b) Install five screws (1), new lock washers (2), and flat washers (3).
(2) Conditioned Air Filter.
( a ) Install conditioned air filter (5) Figure 3-20, upper filter support (4), five screws (l), new lock
washers (2), and flat washers (3).
The air conditioner motor controller creates a momentary short circuit
when power is applied to it. Damage to the connector and power
cable pins can result if it is not isolated when the power cable is
Connected.
NOTE
FOLLOW-ON MAINTENANCE:
Connect power cable to input power connector. See para 3-6.
Return unit to desired operating mode. See para 2-7.
