LUBE HEAT INDICATOR LIGHT MAY BE DEFECTIVE

NOTE

The following check is for resistance.

1 Disconnect the wire from contact (1) on indicator light (2).

2 Connect one multimeter lead to contact (1) and the other lead to

contact (3) on the indicator light (2).

3 Check for approximate resistance reading of 80 K ohms.

resistance is not present, replace the indicator light (2) (p 6-187).

4 If LUBE HEAT light does not light, proceed to step B.

LUBE HEAT SWITCH MAY BE DEFECTIV.

1 Connect one multimeter lead to LUBE HEAT switch contact (1) and

the other lead to LUBE HEAT switch contact (2).
