WHY? . . . If during starter voltage test, the voltmeter registers
less than 18 volts and batteries checked above 18 volts,
these tests will find the high resistance cable or con-
nection. Any high resistance connection must be re-
moved. Have the mating surfaces cleaned, reassembled,
and tightened. If it's a cable, replace it
