WARNING
Never reuse locking hardware. Reuse of locking hardware such as lockwashers,
locking nuts, cotter pins, and lock wire can result in undetected loosening of
fastening hardware causing catastrophic component failure resulting in death,
injury, or damage to equipment. In accordance with TB 43-0218, ensure that all
locking hardware is discarded upon removal and replaced with new.
REPLACE HIGH PRESSURE PUMP SEALS, VALVES, AND PLUNGER
DISASSEMBLY
NOTE
Only one valve kit is required to replace all the valves in one pump. The valve O-rings,
valve seats, valves, springs, and cages are all preassembled.
1. Unscrew and remove the six valve plugs (figure 1, item 1).
2. Remove the six valve plug O-rings (figure 1, item 2) and discard.
3. Pull to remove the six valve assemblies (figure 1, item 3) and discard.
4. Remove the six valve spacer O-rings (figure 1, item 4) and discard.
