Sealant, Pipe (Item 12, Appendix D)
Equipment Conditions:
Engine shut down (paragraph 2-11).
Vessel is moored (paragraph 2-7).
a. Removal.
(1) Open relief valve on hand pump and release system pressure.
(2) Disconnect hose (1).
(3) Remove connector (2) and valve (3).
b. Installation.
(1) Apply pipe sealant (item 12, Appendix D) on valve (3) and connector (2).
(2) Install valve (3) and connector (2).
(3) Connect hose (1).
(4) Recharge the accumulator using the hand pump.
