Put in, and line up holes for pins (3).

Thread lower end of screw through nut.

a. Slide into upper leg.

b. Position so groove in leg is alined
and screw (4)
with hole for gib (7).
Put in.
Gib (7)
a. Screw in, and tighten using 3/8-inch
Gib plug (8)
flat-tip screwdriver.
b. Back off plug 1/2-turn.
Press to bottom of slot.
Gib spring (9)
Slot in gib

Bearing cup (11)
If removed, using 1/2-inch brass drift
and ball-peen hammer, tap in.
Bearing cone (12)
Slip over shaft, and seat in cup.
Bearing cup ( 11)
and screw (4)
Four bushings (13)
Using 1/2-inch brass drift and ball-peen
hammer, tap in.
Seat in keyway using ball-peen hammer.
Key (14)
Screw (4)
a. Aline gear keyway with key (14).
Bevel gear (15)
b. Using ball-peen hammer and 1/2-inch
brass drift, tap on.
Nut (16)
a. Jam gear (15) with wood block so it
cannot turn.
b. Screw on, and tighten using 17/16-
inch socket and handle with 3/4-inch
drive.
c. Remove block.
