4-70. LONG TERM STORAGE OR SHIPMENT .
Placement of equipment in long term storage should be for extended periods of time (45 days or more).
a. Before placing the equipment in long term storage, current preventive maintenance checks and services should
be completed, shortcomings and deficiencies should be corrected, and all Modification Work Orders (MWO) should be
applied.
b. If refrigeration unit has not been in operation, operate the unit (para 2-7) for 15 minutes.
c. Open both side doors and front door.
