INITIAL SETUP
Equipment Conditions:
Rear and center top covers removed (paragraph 4.17)
Refrigerant system discharged (paragraph 5.4)
Solenoid coil (L1) removed (paragraph 5.18)

Avoid bodily contact with liquid refrig-
erant and avoid inhaling refrigerant
gas. Be especially careful that refrig-
erant does not come in contact with
eyes. In case of refrigerant leaks, ven-
tilate area immediately.
Check that power source is discon-
nected. Check that system is dis-
charged of refrigerant.
Inspect
Check for visible damage to cylinder and actuating
wire.

Loosen mechanical post screw (1) to loosen con-

trol wire in flexible cable (2). Straighten control
wire.

Disconnect flare nut (3) from end of actuating cylin-
der (4).
c.
Remove two nuts (5) and two flat washers (6) from
evaporator side of partition and remove actuating
cylinder (4).
